My mother and I have been eyeing this place for a while, and today, with high expectations, we decided to check it out. I ordered the lemon chicken and kale wrap with roasted corn and added jasmine rice to satisfy me further, and upon taking the first bite, I was left… well… quite the opposite of satisfied. The chicken and rice themselves were fine. It was the veggies I had a problem with—namely the kale, which was doused in this weird honey sauce that made the entire wrap taste sweet. The flavor was so overpowering that I was unable to finish, and I ended up letting my mother have the rest. (Disappointing, considering the presentation was nice.) After that regrettable meal, we went home, and once a few hours had passed, a surge of nausea hit me. I experienced diarrhea and vomiting from the food not long after. Not fun! It’s safe to say I won’t be coming back here again unless I’m looking to risk my chances of getting food poisoning for a second time.

My wife and I went to Bolay Sunday, September 25 at around 1230pm. No one was in the restaurant and staff was rude and extremely slow. Many of the staff were in the back (and walking out to the front) eating food. I requested the steak after the girl told me it would only be a couple of minutes. Over 15 minutes later the girl that was eating came out and finally chopped it up.
