Great public access. Restrooms are available immediately on the right upon entry, public area has hassle free study tables with four outlets each. Not the largest library, but wide open spacing with caring staff, well maintained catalogue, and very reasonable amenities for Tacoma area. Population demographic on visit was active elder to mid age parent with some representation from various races present.

There is paid 2 hour parking in front of the building and across the street. Also, there is free 2 hour parking on Ernest Brazil (N.W. Room side of building) and 11th.

You can call your local branch and reserve your DVD, or through the online portal. Tacoma Library has an Awesome app called Hoopla where like Netflix and iTunes you can download movies and music It's free with your library card and worth checking out.
