MULCH and COMPOST!!! If you need a lot COME HERE! They fill up your truck bed for cheap (when I say cheap I mean $4-8 cheap for a full bed) and are always very nice! They do take a lunch break from 12-1 and don’t load after 4:30 but just go any other time than that- and preferably on a day that isn’t Saturday cuz it’s so busy! They open 8-5 Haven’t gotten firewood here before but I hear it’s easy and also cheap… actually I think it’s free since you’re cutting it up yourself. Not sure on that though

Road is keeping up, no debris.

Stopped by the main office to pick up my trash cans. Super friendly, and helpful staff took great care of me.

Guys are doing an awesome job of keeping the line moving at greenwaste considering the volume of stuff they have gotten over the last couple days.

No. But you can bring it to the landfill for recycling depending on what type of monitor it is.
We do. There is a fee of $30/item containing refrigerant because we have to have that removed before they are recycled.
Either Logan landfill they have places to discard them or the proper place on 1100 west 200 north
Lithium and solar can go to the household hazardous waste facility for no charge. Just go to the scalehouse and they will direct you. You can drop the others off down there as well, but they are not recycled and will go to the garbage.
Yes. We are looking to dye more, but it may be late this summer before we get them done.
If they have been rinsed and are totally empty, we can put them in the metal bins for recycling.
Yes. You will need to pay a fee for that refrigerant removal from the fridge though.
It would need to go to construction disposal
Hi Jill! Yes, a regular size truck or small trailer load is $10 for disposal. We ask that all loads entering the landfill are secure - tied down and/or tarped to prevent dangerous load loss and litter. If you purchase green waste products, your load must be covered before leaving the landfill.
It would be our minimum fee of $10 a load and they will direct you where to take them. Thank you!
No
Generally $2 a tire, but it depends on the size and if they have rims or not.
Firewood is currently free. You have to cut it yourself. If you use a chainsaw, please stop at the scale house and sign a waiver.
It depends on the size of the boat. All fluids would need to be removed. If it comes in on a single axle trailer, it would be $10. If it is a double axle trailer than you would be charged $30/ton. Please call the landfill if you have further questions at 435-716-9779.
Yes you can pick up paint I do believe it is free
No there isn't
It depends on the product you are looking for. You can see a full list of what we offer here: http://www.loganutah.org/government/departments/environmental/green_waste/products_for_sale.php
Landfill can take it for $30/ton rate.
Yes, just go to the city website
Yes, we accept those materials for no charge.
Hey Janet, Carpet is considered regular household garbage. You can bring it to the landfill for fee or if it can fit in your garbage can you can dispose of it that way. Hope this helps!
