Greg was so helpful and nice. He arrived quick and fix our kitchen’s sink so fast. Thank you very much!

Update: 6/2/2022 In my opinion, the parking situation at Echo Lake was not great to begin with: there was limited free parking and one had to pay roughly $100 a month for an assigned spot in the parking garage. When we first moved in, the person from the leasing office told us that we might also consider parking on the street in the surrounding neighborhood if we didn't wish to pay for a garage spot (What?). Now, because of ongoing construction, parking spots are even fewer in number and Echo Lake Apartments has decided to tighten parking restrictions instead of providing relief to the tenants which they could easily do by giving garage access to all residents. The complex recently switched to a "smart" sticker system wherein anyone with a smart phone can scan the sticker on a resident's windshield and determine if the parking registration is active and if it indeed belongs to the car upon which it is posted. Echo Lake now wants its residents to self-police parking-- it's bizarre, do they hope that the lack of free parking will turn people so cut-throat they begin trying to get other residents towed to free up spaces? Echo Lake decided, of their own volition, to change the parking sticker system. Luckily I was able to register my car before their arbitrary deadline, otherwise I would have had to pay $30.00 to register my vehicle for the "privilege" of having the opportunity to perhaps park somewhere in the near vicinity of my apartment. As a matter of safety, it should be noted that as of this writing, the parking garage doors all use the same frequency. When a resident uses their garage opener, it opens all the roll-up garage doors in the vicinity. The same is true for the building FOB keys that are used to gain entry to the apartment buildings: they all use the same FOB so theoretically any resident at Echo Lake could use their FOB to enter any of the three apartment buildings in the complex. Why? Improvements are happening, but the pace is slow and the frustrations are many. I was hoping to revisit this review with more positive news, but frankly it is the inverse that holds true. I'd have to caution potential new residents that to live here is to endure inconvenience and disappointment. Original Review: I've lived here for about three months and in my opinion the overall experience has been disappointing. The following is a condensed version of my original review. Issues include: Pictures do not represent the entire property, poor communication from office, lack of attention to detail from office staff, bad sound proofing, old appliances, crowded package room/hard to find packages at times.

Managements behavior is incredibly unprofessional and borders on harassment. They attempted to force us out of a year lease, still haven't managed to finish a roofing project a year later, have committed multiple ADA violations, unclear parking signage and inconsistent enforcement, forced us to transfer units but did not have keys available for our new unit on the agreed upon date, and most recently gave away our PAYED reserved garage spot that is on our lease and was not apologetic when their mistake was brought to their attention. Beautiful apartments and community but not wort the headache.

The leasing staff was very helpful and responsive, assisting us with finding the best option for our situation - went above and beyond to meet our needs and timeline. The apartment community is quiet and respectful of each other. Very dog friendly, nice grass area to walk dog and dog waste receptacles centrally located. Very happy with my choice to lease here.
