Home of DSU Aviation! The airport can be fairly busy when the school is up flying or during flight clinics for ROTC/CAP. Some of the Dover Business GA traffic comes in here otherwise they frequent the civil air terminal at Dover AFB. New runway/airport configuration with the addition of the new runway over the last few years. Nice T-hangars with a waiting list, tie downs available, possible ramp expansion to support the growing fleet of DSU aircraft. Easy access to most of Dover, great pilot lounge and meeting room (separate), both of which are separate from the DSU flight lab area. Generally helpful management, self serve fuel only with easy pull in access adjacent to the taxiway in front of the terminal. The reason for lack of stars is one of the neighbors decided to write a review about a noise complaint... of course when you live near an airport that hosts a large flight school, you’ll have noise. As a pilot, be as neighborly as you can, I’m not aware of any current noise abatement guidance.
