Yes, Canyons and Park City are one resort now, in fact, the largest resort in Northern America!
Most resorts have ski valets
8 A.M. and lifts open at 9 A.M.
Canyons and Park City are two mountains that are linked together so skiing one is skiing both. That said Canyons goes to 9,990 ft and Park City to 10,000 ft. I cannot 100% say however I am positive I have seen dogs at the resort.
The Double Tree is located at 1800 Park Ave, Park City, UT 84060. A bit away from Canyon's Resort. However, it is owned and operated by Vail Resort's. Does have concierge shuttle to both Park City Mountain Resort and Canyon's Resort.

The public bus system is very good. The pink line occasionally runs late but the lime bus, which travels up to the canyons base is very timely. Also remember, unless you are skiing at deer valley, park city and the canyons are connected by lifts and a pass.
