Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

I ordered a no pink gourmet BBQ burger with their bottomless fries. But 1st let start with I was not even approached for 8 mins and the place was kinda empty, then once I was seated it took another 6-7 mins for someone to even talk to me. But I was starving soo I stuck around otherwise I truly would have gone somewhere else, but it’s been years since I had a Red Robin burger. Unfortunately this experience it will be years again. The “gourmet burger” was nothing spectacular and unfortunately as I got to the middle of the burger it was still pink!! Which stuck me as odd as the patty isn’t even very think!!! I hate to say it but an Applebee’s burger would have been soo much better. By the time the waitress came back to ask if I wanted a refill on the fries I was just done with the place!!! And to have spent $22.00 with the tip and all I had was a burger fries and a tea, I was very disappointed 😢

Our server was lovely. We each had one of their lemonade choices. Loved the freckled lemonade! Onion rings, crispy chicken sandwiches and crispy chicken tender salad were all good. We splurged and shared the freckled lemonade cake for dessert.

My husband and I went to Red Robin today for lunch at 11:25. We waited at door Inside but no one came to seat us. We walked in to find someone and he said we could only sit at the bar as they had no servers. We left and went somewhere else to enjoy a lunch. They should not have opened at all.

When my friends said, "Let's go you red Robin." I thought to myself, "I'm not going to find anything there I can eat as I'm gluten and dairy intolerant." I was wrong. I really liked their build a burger. I could completely fine tune it to my needs. I had a lettuce wrapped turkey burger and it was fabulous. They have a steamed broccoli option of which I loved as a side. The waitress was kind and oh so patient. We had a large party of fourteen. It took us a long time to get our food and our separate checks took a bit to get correct. If I had been the waitress dealing with that, I'd have lost my patience. The food industry is hurting for help and food costs have risen substantially, so I allow a lot of grace. I like that they have added healthy choices to their menu. I'll go back.
