Under Remodel. Services limited. I traveled from Florida, rented a car and drove to Atlantic City, stayed in hotel in order to do some local genealogical research at the library microfilm old newspapers. Website mentioned nothing about it undergoing renovation all summer and having no AC. Wasted trip.

The Main Library doors on Tennessee Avenue are closed during our construction project, but the library is still open. If you want to enter the library, please go to the Atlantic County Office doors on Atlantic Avenue. Inform a security guard you are there to visit the library, and you will be able to enter the library via the doors in the atrium.

I apologize we didn't see this until Tuesday, but we were closed on Columbus Day.
There is 15-minute parking on Tennessee Avenue right next to the Main Library. There is metered parking in the area. Also, the library offers free validation for one hour of parking at the New York Avenue Parking Garage, located on South New York Avenue between Atlantic and Pacific avenues.
Mississippi and Baltic Ave where there is now nothing but new roads, also if I remember right there Fairmont Tavern was across the street at one area. I was a carpenter and I did a lot of work there. Its so different now
