I have never written a negative review in my life. But I feel compelled to here.the food was pretty good. The staff was friendly in general (besides 1 or 2). They were either understaffed or the staff didn't have the experience or common sense to do necessary care. Even after I spoke to the director of nursing & she apologized, nothing really changed. Either she didn't make sure instructions were passed down properly or they the night nurse simply ignored them. There seems to be a systematic problem. The best thing about my experience there is I was only there 5 days.

*WARNING* Send your relatives whom you don’t like here. Otherwise stay away! I refer to this place in my medical journeys as my trip through the seventh level of hell. It’s how I imagine a low security prison with now work release or, any release except discharge or death. They put me on three antidepressants! Three and I’m not depressed! The horror doesn’t stop with release. There was the three week detox I had to endure getting off of nine pages of unwarranted medications.

City Creek Post-Acute Rehabilitation/Nursing Facility provided excellent care for my 97-year-old mother recovering from a fractured hip. During the 3 weeks, she received excellent professional, compassionate, gentle nursing, and rehab therapy to restore her health. Mother and family are incredibly grateful to all those contributing to her recovery. We leave prepared with reorientation strategies and a home exercise program.

We had the best experience with City Creek Post Acute Care. My Dad was admitted here after surgery and he has Alzheimer's. The staff was always available and willing to help. Very compassionate for his needs. We are very picky especially when it comes to our Dad and I would highly recommend this facility.
