Very welcoming and friendly staff! I always go out of my way to get comics from these guys to help support their local business. They also have a small selection of board games. If they don't have it in stock they can order it and have it ready for store pick up. Definitely, worth a visit to just talk to the staff about what comics they're currently reading.

Yeah they usually have 4-5 short boxes of dollar comics out on the floor. They're currently under a display in the area by the back issues. If you're ever looking for older, non-mainstream cheap comics, they keep some old like Looney Tunes, et. al. upstairs. Just ask em.

Not yet. But our staff should be fully vaccinated in early June, and once that happens we plan to open.
We have the ULTIMATE COVID safety protocols. We are not open to the public right now. We're doing contact-free home delivery in most of Whatcom County through our website, shop.thecomicsplace.com. We'll be opening again sooner or later, once the staff can all get vaccinated.

We sure do! You can buy them on our website Inset denominations or in our store for any amount.
We are pretty transparent about how we calculate what we pay for issues. In general, we start at 30% cash or 50% trade for comics we need. If it’s sometjing that will take a long time to sell, we offer less. If it will sell faster, we offer more.
