Seastreak Ferry Terminal at Highlands

This was absolutely the best on the water experience I’ve had in New York City and I’m from here. You really don’t realize as a New Yorker how beautiful of a state you live in until you see it from a different perspective. Land or taking off from NYC looks good but there’s something about seeing her from the water that makes her much more breath taking. The level of customer service I received while aboard the SeaStreak ferry was phenomenal, and the food and drinks are reasonably priced. I don’t really see anyone really running up a tab here unless you have a large group with you. The ride to and from bear mountain was a smooth as can be the crew worked swiftly and efficiently to ensure a timely departure and arrival.

The lines at the terminal for the return trip back to NYC were a bit confounding and the ferry itself was quite late. Despite these factors, it was an overall good experience at the Highlands Terminal. Nothing exemplary...but solid and the AC provided nice respite from the late summer sun.
