Saw the incredible Rose Cousins perform here. This was the first time I've been to BH. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the intimate space for this performance. The sound was good for this piano and guitar act. Ballard is lucky to have a venue for these kinds of acts. Only challenge can be parking as this is a residential neighborhood. We found a spot a block over.

If you mean close, like walking distance, I don't think so. It's a short Uber ride from Downtown, South Lake Union, Queen Anne, Fremont, Interbay, and Ballard neighborhoods
There's a few disabled spots right in front, otherwise street parking is usually pretty easy to find.
