Positive: We loved the pool, but could use some weed pulling. Negative: Killed four bugs in room, bed was hard as rock and hurt my back. Got a flat tire from your parking lot that I had to go fix. Cost was $50, and $12 for a body pillow for my back. TV was small.

This older, budget motel shows its age, but it is well-run and tended: air units appeared newer and worked well; staff was attentive with room upkeep; everyone was friendly; room and beds were comfortable. A good value conveniently close to Rehoboth Beach and Lewes. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

The ladies at the front at the front desk were very nice and it was easy check in. Once we got to our room we had a sign on the door saying an exterminator was coming, which would of been nice to know why. Was it up keep or is there a problem. When we got into the room we noticed the beds were only full and not queen sized. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable!!! The room was very hot even with the air conditioner on. It was very nice to have a mini refrigerator and coffee maker. As for cleanliness it could have been better, the bathroom wasn't the cleanest and could use some updates. I probably would not stay their again.

The Sea Esta II is a budget motel a 20 minute or so drive from the beaches. The rooms are a good size and are equipped with newer fridges, a Keurig and an attached blow dryer. The bathroom showed signs of wear and could use a renovation, but everything worked and it was decent and perfectly serviceable. I didn’t see any problems with cleanliness—everything was fine. The bed was decent, although the plastic mattress cover under the sheets was a bit hot and the pillows were budget. One thing I particularly liked is that the walls between rooms are much thicker than most motels or hotels, and so I heard almost nothing coming through them. As with all motels with doors directly to the outside, inconsiderate guests *could* make a lot of noise and disturb guests’ sleep, but everyone staying when I was there was very considerate and quiet. As others have noted, the motel houses some state-funded folks on a longer term basis, but these folks too were perfectly fine. I had very little contact with the staff, but they were all pleasant. And the small pool—which was an unexpected surprise—was clean and in good working order. So … 5 stars for a 2-star (based on fancy amenities) motel. I’ll be back.
