Wifi is extremely slow (clocking 0.2 Mbps)- not even able to open a lightweight Gmail website. I tried to seek help multiple times with the front desk - paid for premium wifi ~15$ per night, still no improvement. This hotel - which is typically used for conventions or business travellers, needs to get this basic necessity made available. On a related note, I am traveling with my 9m old infant and had requested a crib. The housekeeping forgot to set it up, when requested again with the front desk provided one with no mattress. Eventually, after reaching out I was told that the crib comes like that, not sure if I will let my dog sleep on it (slats), let alone my kid. Deeply disappointed with the amenities and services provided by the hotel. I will skip staying here next time.

The beds are very uncomfortable and pillows suck, I asked for an extra blanket for 2 nights and when I finally got it was a thin like duvet cover smh. The staff were very professional and considerate and the stuffed donuts were really good. I will add the hotel could really go for a renovation.

I can't help you with this doubt.... I recommend you call them directly. :-)
yes
Yes, at least most rooms on the back side have balconies.
There is a stop and shop about a mile and a half away in highland Park.
As long as your not scheduled to arrive on a day where there is a special event going on or a nation holiday, I have found the New Brunswick Hyatt to be accommodating.. Give a call and I'm sure they will help. Good luck !!😀
