Horrible practice! I went to another neurologist and the doctor there wonder why I was on the medication that this office has been prescribing me for the past four years! Additionally, I only saw Dr. Gonzales-Portillo one time, and that was to get the wrong medication extended that I was taking. Please, I normally don't write reviews, however, if you value your life, please stay away!

I am writing in behalf of my daughter due to her medical neurological condition. She had an accident around 2010 that changed her life, she went to the ER and was diagnosed with a concussion because her patient physically assaulted her. My daughter was a therapist. She was referred to see Dr. Fernando for diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Fernando said she was ready to work when the reality was she was in excruciating pain and not even able to tolerate being outside in the sun or see light, sounds, movement/exercise, etc. We overheard the staff of nurses ridiculing and making fun of my daughters pain and health. Dr. Fernando was pushing her to go work despite her clearly being in pain and not ready. Ever since that unfortunate day of the accident, she became permanently disabled and if Dr. Fernando would have given her the treatment or early intervention that was necessary for her case and the condition, it would have prevented the condition from becoming chronically severe as stated by other professional neurologists . He was supposed to give her a preventative treatment but he did not approve of it and as a result working compensation did not allow it. Now the medical condition is resistant to treatment and change and it is now more difficult to treat and it is now permanently disabling. He said she had nothing wrong with her just so that she can start working as soon as possible and stop dealing witching working compensation rather than being medically accurate and getting her the treatment she deserved. He is not a good doctor and the staff is not very caring and understanding and it is confusing to me how they can work under a neurologist and make fun of people's pain and medical condition and don't take the medical condition seriously which are by now scientifically proven/valid and real among the scientific community. There is no excuse. I do not recommend this doctor or this staff to get you the treatment you deserve or need. I would have posted 0 stars but the option was not available.

My husband needs a study so they referred him to this doctor, The referral didn't specify where he needs the study, hands or foot, anyway the doctor came asking and talking like speedy gonzalez because he said he was busy and didn't hear what we have to say, we didn't like him and we don't recommend him to anyone

Worst doctor. Worst office. Dr answer non of my questions and directed me to ask PA. They wont answer their phone or return messages.
