Honestly there is no way to find out. They usually get in contact with you within a year of applying. I'm answering through my experience. So make sure if you change your number or address to let them know

I now have a disability, can I have a person move in with me to take care of me. I will need 24 hour care. can it be a relative or a CNA?

Yes as long as you get a dr. note stating you need it or that it will be beneficial for you. Its up to you as long as you have health home care services.
