I went in with low expectations and got pretty much what I expected. Alfredo was surprisingly good(all the world's cheese, but fresh). My friend got a burger and it was surprisingly bad. Also got a greek salad that had a piece of corn beef in. Not a bad meal, but not good either.

Went there twice in the last month or so. I had beef stroganoff was very good. Wife had lasagna was terrible. Thought we would try again. This time I had prime rib .I wanted it rare it came medium. Wife had baked stuffed fish. As soon as it came to the table it smelled bad. Fish was obviously frozen and tuff .Wife had one bite I had one bite couldn't eat anymore. They did take it off the bill .we will not be back

This was my first visit to The Tavern. The service was outstanding but the food was average at best. I ordered the scallops and they were overcooked and rubbery. The sauce on the pasta I ordered on the side tasted like it came from a jar. My husband ordered a Delmonico steak and it was small and fatty. There are better options in Western Mass.

Nice clean place. Friendly service. Good selection on the menu. Prices where fair. Also had some lunch specials, that is always a plus. Food came out quickly. My Reuben's Corned Beef was a little overcooked, and was dry. But other than that the rest of the food was good.
