I had the pleasure of listening to Sam at an AFA University event in Texas. His passion for his job was inspiring. He clearly knows his stuff and I can tell by his relationship with respected fence company owners that he is getting the job done. I'm glad that he is part of our industry.

Questions & Answers

I have a girl on staff who works on the website and our social media. However she isn't a pro and she has limitations to what she knows and what she can do. Can you guys help work alongside her to support her?

John Mooney | Nov 2, 2020
Sam Natello | Nov 2, 2020

Absolutely! Most of our clients have this same exact situation, it's very common. We have several different programs that can definitely help. Our approach is to fill-in the gaps where she needs support and to magnify her efforts. We can also help with strategy and insights she may not have. Finally, we have a coaching/consulting program that can help her strengthen her skills tremendously. This can be one-on-one coaching or group coaching for multiple members of your staff.

How much does a basic entry-level website cost for a new company? How long does it take?

Francis Jermain | Nov 2, 2020
DotCom Global Media | Nov 2, 2020

Basic websites can start as low as $2,500 and can be online in approx. 7 to 10 days if you have all your information and photos ready to go. Most likely, you'll need some time to get everything put together. My experience is it usually takes 3 weeks to get everything right. The fastest website we've ever launched was under 24 hours ... but that client had all of their stuff already on a flash drive (organized, photos resized properly, etc.) and handed it to us at the meeting. It can be done!

How long does it take to launch a "normal" website? We are a solar company with 12 employees and we cover an area of 4 counties. I want something very professional but nothing out of the ordinary. I am guessing it will have around 7 or 8 pages.

For websites less than 10 pages, we have created a set of excellent professional templates that we then modify to fit your needs. These can generally be launched in 2 weeks if you have all of your photos and web page content organized. For more ambitious and/or more established companies - our award-winning custom designs generally tend to take more like 90 days because these sites tend to be much "deeper" with content, photos, videos, etc.

Do you guys do Wordpress websites?

Olivia Wells | Nov 2, 2020
DotCom Global Media | Nov 2, 2020

Hi Olivia. Thanks for reaching out to us. Yes. We do Wordpress websites. Approx 1/3 of our sites are Wordpress. Mostly, we prefer to use Wordpress for blogs. Generally, we don't think Wordpress is the right tool to use for the entire website - we think there are much better options. However, many of our clients ask for Wordpress specifically (not just for the blog but for the entire website).

There are a lot of companies in the area that appear to do what you guys do but you seem to be priced a little higher than many of them. I normally would have just moved on but you have amazing reviews so I wanted to explore a little further.

George Mitchel | Nov 2, 2020

Hey George. I appreciate your very direct question. Most early-stage businesses choose to go with lower priced agencies that hire lower priced / less qualified employees. This leads to lower quality work and less effective solutions. Unfortunately, it's a trap. While you may pay less, you will also lose out on a lot of business. In the end, it usually COST you much more in lost opportunities. Over time, these business owners begin to understand what these cheaper solutions actually cost them, that is when we usually hear from them. The reason we have so many awesome reviews is because we get results where others have failed. I am proud to have a team of super-talented, experienced professionals with a long track record of amazing results! I hope this helps you understand this issue better.

I have a small business and I run ads on Google and sometimes Facebook to drive traffic. I am spending around $500/mo. but I am not getting very many calls. What (specifically) can you do to help me?

Patricia Moore | Nov 2, 2020
DotCom Global Media | Nov 2, 2020

We generally manage paid ad campaigns with monthly budgets of $1,000 or more. For existing clients who are also using us for other services (like website design, SEO, email marketing, etc. - we do manage lower spends like the $500 budget you mentioned. That being said, my suggestion is to pay attention to highly optimized LANDING PAGES to drive your ad clicks to. If you are not familiar with landing pages, check out our BLOG. We have several articles dedicated to what they are and how to use them. Good luck!

Do you manage paid ad campaigns like Google Ads or Facebook ads? If so, how much do you charge?

Mary Bennett | Nov 2, 2020
DotCom Global Media | Nov 2, 2020

Yes, we manage paid ad campaigns for both Google and Facebook. Assuming we are not handling any other aspects of your project (like website, social profiles, email marketing, etc) - only the paid ad portion ... we charge 15% of your monthly ad spend as a management fee. That being said, we usually SAVE clients at least that much with our agency discount and by running more effective campaigns ... so, in a way, our services are FREE!

My business has had a website for over 10 years but I am still not showing up on the Google map / local search results. Can you help? It is important for me not to only be listed but to rank at (or near) the top.

Mary Bennett | Nov 2, 2020
DotCom Global Media | Nov 2, 2020

Yes! 100% Yes! Local search optimization is a focus of ours and we are extremely effective at it. Rankings don't happen by accident, there are a number of factors that Google uses to determine who should be ranked and who shouldn't. Our job is simply to show Google how awesome you really are - by giving them what they are asking for. Give us a call, we can get things heading in the right direction very quickly.
