BJ’s has come along way since I began my membership in the 90s on LI NY Famingdale club. It’s changed for the better and especially in the last couple of years dramatically reduced check out times with the introduction of self service check out machines! But ultimately it’s the other changes that really are game changers, the elevation of fresh food offerings such as their meats and produce. I like their service counter at cold cuts and big assortment of cheese available at great prices. The Saratoga Wilton location store has friendly employees, the store is always spotless and has the same value and quality clothing selection as well as all household products and equipment as Costco and Sams club. What I really like is as a snow bird I can shop BJs everywhere I seem to go and have the same exceptional experience I have come to expect from them. I used to have 3 memberships and am now down to BJs only!

ah the BJs shopping trip. do not enter if you can't afford the exit fee of $100. I have never left that place without spending at least that much. great place for paper goods, butcher/package meat, snack chips and bars, dry cereals. some season items are quite reasonable also but always price check on amazon or walmart for common things. ProTip: BJS online sells discounted Giftcards and you can have them shipped for free usually. easy gift shopping.
