This restaurant was recommended to us by the desk person at our motel. What a wonderful recommendation. My husband and I both got the broiled scallops-done to perfection. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. Even took a few minutes to ask us about our stay in the area. Neat, clean and the acoustics very good-not noisy at all. Right in town, but easy to find with public parking less than a block away, as well as street parking. Definitely a great place to stop. We'll definitely stop the next time we're in the area.

NEVER get the boneless wings hard dry asked for extra med sauce on side got some nasty bbq sauce that was the end of my dinner! No coffee or ice tea refills The loaded fries were delicious and my husband' said his mushroom Swiss burger was pretty good. We will try to find another place next time we are in Loweville. The waitress asked how my wings were I said terrible she said thats awesome and walked away !

Food is the best quality in town, but it mostly just comes down to budget and the cooks. J&Bs (formerly Mr.Sub) food quality has plummeted since changing ownership. Tony Harpers is a coin toss depending on which cook is placed in charge of your order. The quality of the food here is as consistent as it gets. Typical bar and diner food. Nothing really stand out. They do not do delivery which is a big minus. Pick-up is spotty, if you dont order before ~4:30PM don't expect it to be available. Also expect dining in to be a tad claustrophobic and noisy past lunch hours. The bar is okay, again nothing crazy on offer. Local patrons can be hit or miss. Don't recommend stopping for it, especially if you do not hail from a northern rural area. If you plan to spend an evening drinking, there are much better places in Watertown to socialize and enjoy a night out. If you are looking to stop after snowmobiling, Tony Harpers is the place to go. Its the "party" bar, but I would recommend either, Flat Rock Inn or Montigue. Jeb's bar is very much a local stop.

I got the Mac and cheese it was good but my wife got the chimichanga she says the best she ever had. I have since returned and we both got the chimichanga. It's our new favorite meal and location when we're in town.
