We’ve been coming here for years. We love it and so do our kids. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s also close enough to town to walk for ice cream after dinner and light shopping but far enough away where it’s quiet too.

We came in from hiking and this place was perfect. The owners really care and take pride in their property. They are hiker friendly, have laundry on site, a fun game room and are reasonably priced. They even gave us a ride back to the trail the next morning. Would definitely recommend! 👍🏕

Pros: Great location. Cute place. Cons: Not especially clean (we have a 10 month old that loves to move - was hoping for a nice clean feel!) and the "no guest allowed" policy is ridiculous. I'm all for a pleasant, quiet vacation/stay, but we had no idea of this policy and had previously arranged for our two sweet elderly friends (86 and 90 years old) come to have dinner with us. We were sitting at the table quietly enjoying the meal and their company when the staff came and told us that our friends had to leave, immediately. It was very sad, rude, and unnecessary. The staff refused to make an exception. Shamrock Motel has a right to make what ever rules they want, but we won't be staying here again. There are nicer, cleaner places out there with nicer people and that allow family and friends to visit.
