Very nice motel - super clean and in a rustic setting , The owners are very accommodating and will assist with any questions or concerns .The motel is close to shops, restaurants and points of interest . The Sandy Point motel has a nice beach which is available for the Blueberry Hill guests as well. Would recommend either place!

We visited a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed our stay. We rented the stand alone 2 bedroom just to the left of the Blueberry Motel, that is owned by the same owners. We found it to have everything we needed, and was comfortable to relax in between our visits to the many local attractions. The owners visited the Motel area each day to check if we needed anything, to collect the trash / recycling, and were friendly to talk to. I specifically enjoyed the front porch, as it was nice to relax on and enjoy the quiet of the area.

What a cute little motel! My hubby and I stayed here in their cabin for a week the summer of 2019 and had a wonderful time! The motel itself is tiny (7 rooms and a cabin) and is quiet and peaceful. The bed in the master bedroom was super comfy and we could even hear the loons on the lake in the mornings! We also saw deer and turkeys. Blueberry Hill's not on the lake but across the street and near enough to the lake that it was convenient (which is why the rooms are lower priced). There are raspberry and blueberry bushes on the property but it seemed like the critters always got the best fruit. The new owners (2015) have been upgrading the rooms and property and are amazing hosts!! There is free wifi and Dish TV, plus beach access from their other property, the Sandy Point Motel, across the street and up the road a bit. There's a fire pit with free wood that we could use (and did) and we were able to rent kayaks at the Sandy Point. The cabin itself is a house with 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths and a full kitchen - it was super clean and we had housekeeping service daily. I can't say enough about the friendliness of the owners. Daniela even brought me a cookie sheet when I felt like making cookies (the kitchen had everything else I needed). We are planning on visiting again in July and are bringing our daughter and grandkids. Blueberry Hill exceeded expectations and we are looking forward to our return visit.

Four and a half years ago I visited here and I can hardly remember the visit but I do remember thin walls musty air and a very uncomfortable pillow. There's nothing wrong with being a three-star motel... As long as you don't act like you're a five-star motel and charge five star prices.... Four and a half years and you finally comment as to why? Well I'm going to change my three stars to 5. Because it's apparent that you care.
