Beautiful views and wonderful sunset with amaing activity everywhere .. Seates skyline is a amazing scenary to stop and take just a minute to look around ..it must look so different compared to what local people saw back 300 years ago ..

I worked at SKYLINE few mos. ago as an ISP. At memory care support. The staff were very accommodating , friendly and very approachable. What a wonderful experience!!!

Possibly the best full service retirement community in Seattle. Independent living in the tower of apartments, 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms. Views of downtown, Mt. Rainier, St. James Cathedral across the street. Valet parking and an underground garage for residents. Two dining areas--a restaurant-like larger dining room with gourmet meals and a smaller bistro with casual dining. Best feature is the continuing care available in the adjacent Terraces, including skilled nursing, assisted living and memory unit. Staff is highly capable and kind. Residents are friendly, educated with no cliques as found in some other retirement communities.

Excellent food with outside dining in the summer. Very interesting, active residents, younger and better educated than average. Real sense of community. Excellent fitness program. About 280 residents in 199 apartments (independent living). Buy-in for life interest, no rentals. Opened 2009, a true CCRC incorporating skilled nursing, memory care, and assisted living (see The Terraces, not "under the same roof" but over the same basement!). Frye Museum nearby with many programs and cafe/coffee. Lots of lectures and movies in-house. Largest occupational groups: professors, physicians, engineers, pastors, nurses and teachers. Cons: lots of sirens (walking distance to three major hospitals), new 30-story condo going up just across the street to the north someday, and a distant hum from I-5 traffic when windows open.
