Very cute and well stocked plant shop and nursery! It’s in a little shopping district with some good restaurants and coffee nearby. I went in looking for a climbing rose and the clerk was friendly and knowledgeable and helped me pick between the 3 they had in stock.

The indoor plant selection here is amazing and at very good prices (compared to other small garden centers throughout Seattle). The staff was very helpful. And there was a cute cat named Slinky who was sleeping in a cat bed by the register. I will definitely come back when I need a new plant.

Nice place, but really on the pricey side. They have a lot of beautiful pots, as well as a large gift store. But I have found other gardening shops that have happier plants and better supplies selection for less money.

I was searching for a local monstera for my cousin in Seattle while I’m on the other side of the country. I called up and Jason sprang into action, sending me pictures of the different individual plants they had. He was wildly attentive and so genuinely stoked to make this Christmas present special. The recipient was over the moon, and as a plant junkie, confirmed it was super healthy and gosh darn beautiful. The only downside is that I can’t get plants for myself.... open up a sister store in Virginia and send Jason on over please. :)

What are the Covid safety practices like here?

Magnolia Garden Center (Owner) | Aug 12, 2022

Thanks for your concern. Magnolia Garden Center has been practicing social distancing since the beginning of the pandemic and requests everyone entering to do the same. We require masks on all patrons and are limiting customers in the buildings to 5 in each building at a time and will limit access until there more capacity is available. We have outdoor checkouts normally available and all of our checkout stands have barriers installed to avoid close contact with the cashier. All points of sale can be contactless with chip-embedded credit cards, Apple Pay, etc. Our buildings are also both equipped with air cleaning systems equipped with bactericidal and viricidal components to further help keep everyone safe. One third of our staff has been fully vaccinated and we expect the rest to be so in the coming several weeks. Please let us know if you have any additional concerns that we can address.

Indoor Plants | Aug 12, 2022

Currently we do not have any Liberty variety blueberry plants, however, we do have nearly twenty other varieties available. You can check out the varieties we normally cycle through during the season at our website https://www.magnoliagardencenter.com/blueberries The varieties change frequently so the list doesn't gaurantee we have all the varieties in stock. Please call to verify any particular varieties are in stock. Thank you.
