The owner was very sweet and accommodating. The site prices were reasonable and the sites were spacious and clean. The hilltop campground was beautiful and had convenient access to gas, ice cream, restaurants, downtown Oneonta and highway access. Definitely returning!

HIGHLY recommend Deerhaven Campground. The location, price, cleanliness, views and amenities were 5 out of 5 stars. Located less than 2 minutes from All-Star Village, Deerhaven winds up the side of the mountain with amazing views. The campground is owned and ran by a husband and wife who are very kind and accommodating. Deerhaven offers campsite, cabin and two RV rentals. We rented RV2 for 7 days. Both RV1 and RV2 are very spacious, updated and very clean. RV2 has a bunk area with enough room to sleep 4 kids in twin beds, pull out double sofa and kitchen table bed along with a queen bedroom. They offer a linen package for an additional $75. We chose to bring our own pillows and linens. The kitchen is stocked with basic silverware, pots and pans, cups, coffeemaker and toaster. There is also deck on the outside of the camper with seating for four. The site is beautiful and private. Be sure to bring firewood and smores supplies :) The price is very affordable for under $1k for the week considering the location. Location really matters when you have late night and early morning games. If we had to make this trip again I would choose Deerhaven!!

Deer Haven is an impeccably kept campground. The owners work very hard to keep the property clean, and it's located on a beautiful property - complete with a pond and walking trails. We had take-out each night, and all of the food was amazing. Will definitely make a point to go back!

The view is spectacular!! 2 minutes from All-Star Village and the Cabins were very clean upon arrival. The sites provide ample room for BBQ and camp fire. The owners were great. Anything you needed they would provide or help you getting. I even left money in the drawer by accident $176 cash and they sent me check to my house, If your going to Cooperstown why stay in a hotel room when you can enjoy the outdoor feel.

Yes - call 607-433-9654. Mica is the person to speak with. She teaches during the day and sometimes receives 50 calls a day, so it often may take a couple of days to hear back. Just make sure to leave a message and she will definitely get back to you.
If you go on airbnb you can contact them through there. They responded same day when I did.
Good evening- due to our steep hill and our water system being susceptible to freezing, we are only open in the summer months - sorry.
The closest grocery store is called Hannaford. It is one exit away on I88. Probably a 5 minute drive.
