♥️♥️♥️ this restaurant. Lots of unique sandwiches. Delicious food. The garlic and eggplant pizza was fabulous. Very low key place. Will be back often!

Service was terrible. Asked for napkins and silverware and never received any. Couldn’t pick up the sandwich it was so soggy it was a mess. The majority of the sandwich was soaked in olive juice. Waste of money. 👎🏻

Quick stop for lunch while in the area calling on a customer. Super fast and friendly. Salad was amazing and looked just like the pictures online did. I'll definitely be eating here from now on when I'm in the area.

Went with friends who love this place but I was pretty disappointed overall. Ordered a salad first and took it to the house, it was pretty pricey but the ingredients looked fresh so I don't mind paying for quality. Not sure how I could be disappointed with a salad but it happened. Nothing on it was seasoned, tons of extra ingredients that wasn't on the menu that didn't really go together, dressing was bland. I honestly couldn't even really eat it, it felt like 2 different salads in one box, just eating the raw ingredients (I love mushrooms but don't enjoy just eating them raw or with ther other ingredients that were on the salad). Went back the next day to speak to someone about it because I really wanted to like the food since my friends spoke so highly of them. Spoke with the chef and she was receptive but a bit cold as if I offended her which wasn't my intention. Asked for suggestions on what to order and ended up picking a meatball sandwich since she said they made the meatballs in house. Got home and was surprised when I picked up the sandwich, it was completely soaked underneath. Meatballs were tough (overworked) and bland, marinara was flavorless, and it was served on untoasted sliced white bread which basically turned to a soggy mess. Hot foods + white bread= soggy. Then to top it off the sandwich was sitting on top of a pile of bland pasta salad adding even more moisture. Was a huge disappointment overall because they have such great reviews and the building was really clean and had a cool vibe to it. Great drink selection and unique menu but fell really, really short for me. **if you must use white bread try toasting the bread so it doesn't get as soggy, or using a more substantial roll that will hold up to a hot food and maybe a sheet of deli paper between the sandwich and pasta.**

Homemade Italian bread
I love the sandwiches there
Yes to salads and sandwiches. Their staff can be rude at times. They have vegetarian options, but not strictly a vegetarian restaurant.
This is not an official answer but if I was to guess, it's just a fun name for eggplant which they use in a lot of the menu items.
Tables ensure further separation between employees and customers. Eat-in tables are spaced further than 6 feet apart (which reduces capacity). I've observed them wipe down tables after customers leave as well as wiping down cooler handles. Masks are required for employees as well as customers.
The bread needs to be baked everyday. They do not add preservatives to withstand more then a day. I agree its some of thw best bread out there
