Since I gave it 2 stars I should say the food is actually decent, wont blow your socks off but solid diner food. That would normally get 4 stars. The big negative is the price, everything is nearly double the average for the area. $20+ for a average burger/chicken strip basket/fish and chips. I can’t speak for why a dive cafe is nearly double all their competitors prices but the food is decent for a cafe/bar. If you are set on a tavern do yourself a favor, save money and skip this place for better atmosphere, equal quality, and cheaper prices at a couple places between oak harbor and coupeville. Some are even waterfront.

This place was awesome. Hand pressed Patties made to order. Fresh toppings and a toasted bun. Amazing garlic fries like you could only find 10 years ago. Great employees and reasonably priced. This was my first time there and I will definitely be back.

Went in there super hung over excited for some messy potentially even bad/greasy breakfast food. Google doesn't give a 0 star option. I kid not, there was a hair in each of our plates. A nice garnish. I suspect the corned beef came from a can. I dont trust like that. The food I did consume was okay though, I got the biscuits and gravy. The gals waiting out table were nice though and provided good service. Probably wouldn't return just to see them though. It looks nice on the outside but is not on the inside. Bathroom doors don't secure shut, great way to make friends.

Stayed at the motel for a week. Enjoyed the food and friendly atmosphere. Saw some bad reviews but seems like they've fixed the smoke issues as I have sensitive allergies and had no issues. You gotta try the chefs omelette with homemade hash browns stuffed inside! Also the pasta dishes are huge! Loved every meal I ate there.
