One of the biggest courtesies a business owner can do for their customers is to keep their operating days and hours up to date. Came here today only to find other customers waiting in the parking lot because the business was closed. This despite Google and Penn Cove Brewing’s own website indicating they were open today.

A very nice little taproom tucked away in downtown in sight of the water, great beer, and friendly staff. Visited on a rainy day and enjoyed the inside, and plan to come back in summer to enjoy their patio and some ocean air. I had a side of their potato salad and really enjoyed it. Inside is small and might get loud when it is busy, but that's to be expected in a taproom :).

Great beer! It's all about the local craft beer but the food is good too and enhances the beer enjoyment. Check their website for weekly deals for an inexpensive social enhancing buzz. Bring your friends and enjoy the fire pit or just enjoy some TV like me. Staff is friendly and helpful. Customers here are friendly too. Two large TV's, that have both standing and sitting tables, with lots of channels including Seattle Mariners channel. Rustic interior design in an old part of downtown. Nice looking and clean restrooms. I love the exposed old log support beams, wood floor, and wood standing tables. Outdoor fire pits and seating are warm on cool evenings. You can see the harbor and enjoy the salty ocean air.

Conveniently located in downtown Oak Harbor, this taproom boasts kind staff, a need vibe, and good beer. Can’t ask for much more! Stop by for a relaxing afternoon bevy on the front porch!
