This Deli is a hit or a miss! Years ago when I would go in it was owned by a new Asian family. And the man of the family worked every day I assumed. When I went in for a visit he was there. I noticed no matter how I dressed he would pop out from the back and would watch me and every other black person that came in for food. Even in my suit. So I stopped going in for that very reason. Now I’m back in town and I thought I’d visit again. Now the cooks are Mexican and a new Asian family owns the Deli. But, I noticed when I come in I always have the Mexican cooks eyeballing me. The first time back they burned my food. The next three times I went this nice Asian lady seems to be running the place and she’s very nice. For some reason the cooks seem to be doing everything right. So, I go in today to order a sandwich then another black guy comes in place an order and sits down. Then about 8 different white people comes in and order various dishes and seemed to get served first. Then my simple sandwich comes out next to last then the other black guys dish comes out last as I was leaving. No I did watch the Mexican cook talking to this you kid cashier about my sandwich. Why? It’s a simple sandwich! Anyway, I’m done with this place again. That’s what you get when dealing with not well educated people. They are all small minds that thinks ignorant things.

I also tried the Teriyaki chicken and it was seriously delicious. If you go there you have to try it. Great takeout.

I really am glad I found this place. I didn't look for any groceries but was curious about the hot food section. I tried the spicy teriyaki chicken and it was great. Very flavorful with the right amount of kick - in the range of medium-very spicy but great with plain rice. You also get a small salad with it. Service was very fast although I came very early. I would definitely come back for more!

Some people call this place a hole in the wall. I call a hidden gem. Definitely stop by if you're curious and in the mood for some solid Asian food!
