DO NOT ENROLL your kids in this camp. I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Jeffrey Thomas - executive director who was extremely rude to me. I was planning on cancelling out my daughter out of only one week and opted to fully cancel both weeks once I spoke to him. He was extremely rude and condescending over the phone and mentioned they had other priorities as well as hung up the call on me when I asked if I would get a full refund. It is very concerning that people like this run summer camps and are responsible for young children. As a parent who has put my children in camps all over the Seattle area, I had never experienced such bad communication with anyone in such a way. I will take my business to Camp Fire/ Camp Sealth. I urge any parents to not send their children here, especially to their overnight camp. This is a bad business poorly run and with bad management. Addendum- I spoke to Lily over the phone and was able to provide me with all the information I needed in a polite and respectful manner. She was able to answer my questions and was so nice to talk to.

Beach Camp at Sunset Bay is a fun summer camp with boating and marine biology based activities. The counslers and CITs are nice and campers are required to be in a counsler's sight or with a buddy for safety. The food is also good and day camp and overnight options are available. There is also a camper choice time after dinner for the overnight campers.

Beach camp is such a fun place for all kids whether they have been around the water their whole lives or they are just getting comfortable with it. I grew up going to camp here every summer and I had a blast doing it. There are so many fun things to do here, although some of my favorites are snorkeling, cliff jumping, and the trapeze. There are not many places where kids can get such a unique and exciting experience in such a safe environment. I highly recommend this camp to anyone.

This past summer was my first year experiencing Beach Camp, and I have to say, this is the best opportunity for kids to learn about marine science and water sports at a camp with direct access to the Puget Sound! From kayaking excursions to marine biology lessons, your kids are guaranteed to have a blast here.

They do have a small, indoor area to skate. They also have a ninja gym and a rock wall.
They do not rent out boats.
