Good place still great after all these years newer playground setup summer time there's a wading pool big open field walking trails a little bit of woods batting cage there's a whole bunch of stuff to do over there there's a nice shelter you can use and they also have grills available if you feel like cooking it's one of my favorite parks in Des Moines

Great park! Has playgrounds well suited for little and big kids. The splash pad and wading pool are a highlight in the summer for my toddlers.

Free. Its a public city park. There may be a fee to reserve a shelter space there however you can just show up and enjoy the day at the park

It's a normal Creek, not really regulated by anything. You can throw dirt in it if you so desire
It has chlorine like a normal pool
Reserve it because parks tend to fill up fast.

There isn't a swimming pool but there is a splash pad and it's free.
