I remember when the park was first built, and it was amazing. Since then it has been left in disrepair. Most things are still usable, and that's great. Some things aren't as safe as they were, and some things are completely unusable. I would love to see the city repair, or hold a fundraiser for repairs. This was such a beautiful, and fun playground in its prime.

The courts have lights. You'll find the switch on a pole outside the gate. Gates to parking lot closes and are locked at dusk. Courts are open until 9:00 p.m. with parking on the street.
Just have the party. See if any of the places to host a bday party are in use though. But normally from what I've seen, people just set up and make sure to clean up everything and if you use the hibachi grills to make sure the fire is out completely.
