Spoke to someone in utilities about this month's water bill being higher than average. It turns out a defective stopper in the toilet water tank (repaired prior to going to Smyrna Utilities) was at fault. The person who assisted me was pleasantly professional and had my bill lowered to reflect that the probable problem had been repaired.

You would think during hard times your water wouldn’t be shut off for being few weeks late. The electric company at least gives more time, actually call to remind and help if needed. Not Smyrna water! They want that money as soon as possible and then stick you with an insane fine! I wasn’t able to pay it before but come on that’s a hefty fee to turn water back on. It’s my fault I’m late. But dang they give no compassion or help at all!!!
