My partner has been there for two months. The only thing he does for addiction and recovery is the required 2 meetings a week which you must walk to. Required to work. 40 hours a week in exchange for food & bed. He gets $5 at end of week. If you need hygiene products, they must be bought from them. No cell phone is allowed which is OK but the community payphone is inoperable and you have no way to make doctors appointments , etc unless you fill out a request form to use the office phone. Also if you need a jacket in the cold weather you need to do the same form. It’s been almost 3 weeks and he has not yet got either. The second week he was there another resident overdosed late at night. No phone to call for help and no more than 1 or 2 “employees” there after 5 or overnight, per 50 or so residents. He has not received any counseling, any help working on recovery, or any rehabilitation. They are strictly a faith based program. If you believe that God can fix your addiction and give you a life of sobriety, then that’s great. But if you believe you need to be taught new behaviors, learn coping skills to prevent relapse, tools to live a life in recovery, then this will not be the right place for you. This program also does not help you when you are finished and go back into regular life as far as getting a car, job which isn’t allowed when you reside there. For $5 a week pay, what can you do with that after you complete the program? You won’t have any income to get housing. Keep in mind this is a 6month program. One day at a time.

Doing the most corrupt. Management is terrible. Pretends to be a Christian program. It is a sweat shop work environment. You work about 40 hours a week and they only give you a few bucks. The staff are disrespectful. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

If you want recovery go else where. This organization disguises itself as a Christian program that helps people. But behind the scenes the only concern is so called "work therapy"and meeting quotas, in return you will receive a few bucks for working 40+ hours a week sorting donations and a bed. Government food stamps provide the meals. A majority of the staff are disrespectful, unprofessional and have no concerns for your recovery. I've witnessed them speak with degrading offensive slander to the program attendees. I do not recommend this place to anyone........Be prepared for the sweat shop trap. You have been warned.

Bad place for a big semi truck, never go there.

You would put his name, and then under it, the 3949 forest park ave, st. Louis, mo 63108. I work there. Make sure that you add a return address if it's anything important just in case they are not there still when the letter gets there.
Yes you do make money while your there, not a lot, but some. They will probably hire you on site if you do well with the program. They will help with housing as well
6 month to a year program
If you call they will give you Divisional Headquarters phone number. Headquarters will assist if possible.
Who is it. I'll tell him. I'm in there
You cannot call to talk to a loved one in the program. They can call you until 11 p.m.
