Completely undervalued ASSET 2 the community. They have snack time and a playground. 3 meals a day. I slept so good.
Saint Vincent church in Soulard. They cook meals daily for Homeless to eat,they have 2 locations close to soulard market. St. VINCENT MAYBE ABLE to use the extra equipment?
I was a client at Gateway180 from June 21st to Aug 24th I hope the money goes toward the Nutrition Program, Enrichment Program and a better play area with caretakers for the parents and children!

A man, who appears to have mental health challenges, has made a little home for himself on the street in the 5900 block of Delmar. I do not think a law enforcement encounter will be good or helpful, what are my options to get help for him???

I work at a restaurant that always has a lot of extra bread that usually gets thrown away at the end of the night. Would this shelter accept it to feed people?
You have to call 211 in order to be connected & they'll be able to assist you. You can't just walk in or show up, it's sad but it's a process. I recommend calling 211 ASAP & If that doesn't work head to the nearest food stamp office and tell them your situation or 911 (non emergency number). Good luck

Not sure all the services they provide on the inside, but I do believe they help you with housing,
I have some gently used baby items, mostly bottles or pumping and storing items and some open formula (my son can't ingest it properly but I don't want it to go to waste). Is this needed here?

if i go to the address seeking shelter and safety from abuse will i be turned away? i dont have a phone to find a caseworker or referral

For what mind your own business. This lady may be working on getting her kids back. Pray for her and then ask God to help you so that you will be more loving to people in bad situations. Don't knock people who are down. Help or pray for them .
Ask Management to pass an inquiry to your friend. You will need a first and last name and a way for your friend to contact you. Then Wait! another option is to search via Google and pay $2.50+ for one of those find people sites. I'd try asking Management first. You could also mail a letter to the last known address and see if you get it returned with the new address printed on it. Also try looking in the Haines Directory or contacting the Post Office. Maybe all these ideas will work, maybe none of them will work. Still its worth it to try all of them!!!
