If you are participating in the Silver Sneakers program through your health insurance provider, you can participate in any of our land or water fitness classes once per day! Feel free to call our front desk at (309) 347-2104 for more information specific to your coverage!
The pool is open Monday - Friday 5:30am-8:00pm and Saturday 7:00am-12:00pm. Scheduled activities during those times can be found on our website at www.ywcapekin.org!
Yes! Most adults prefer a private lesson but our lessons are available for any age!
We do not offer parenting classes, unfortunately.
Hi Donna! Our pool will be open on Monday! During July, we will be offering lap swim and water fitness classes, as well as private and semi-private swim lessons, all with limited numbers of people in the pool and extra health and safety measures. We will not have open swim or community swim (with limited numbers of participants) until August. Hope to see you soon!

Early morning lap swim is our least busy time. As far as mornings go, the pool is available for lap swim Monday - Friday from 5:30am-8:00am, and Saturday from 7:00am-8:00am. We have lap swim times available throughout other times of the day as well. Hope to see you here!

The pool is fully disability accessible. We have a ladder entry, a step entry, and a chair lfit as well!
All employees at the YWCA are subject to a background check. Disqualifiers depend on the specific position they would be working. All child care employees are required to submit to a fingerprint background check through DCFS.
