Zion health share is a pleasure to work with and is the way health share should work.

This has been great fill-in between when we no longer had our company coverage and getting enrolled in Medicare. Essentially covers basic doctor’s visits each year and preventive things like Mammograms and Colonoscopy. But is great to have in case of catastrophic events and will also share in the healthcare costs if something happens a while traveling.

Zion Health has been a blessing to my family in so many ways. I left another Healthshare in January and couldn't be more pleased that I chose Zion Health. My husband had a massive heart attack on Easter Sunday. Zion's awesome team members were so attentive to my calls, which were answered in person each time I called. The hospital bill was paid in full the day I received it, by Zion. The original hospital bill was over 52,000.00, but with the hospital's self-pay and prompt pay discounts it brought it down to 14,600.00. I paid my IUA portion and Zion called the same day and paid the balance with a credit card. I was over the moon impressed by this!! All of his followup visits to his cardiologist have been covered 100% and paid as soon as I submitted them. I am scheduled for my preventative colonoscopy screening next week (which is covered up to $5000 after a waiting period of 6 months). I called Zion today to see how to handle the payment and they are emailing me a credit number to prepay the day of the screening. This is the very best healthcare company I have ever worked with. I LOVE ZION HEALTH!! Julie Taylor

I have been blown away by the stress-free experience thus far in working with Zion Healthshare! I can’t believe everything has really been as easy and simple as they said it would be to get all of my medical expenses processed and taken care of for my maternity need. They literally pay your healthcare providers same day - over the phone before/after your visit, or as soon as you get your bills and email them! Jaden has been handling my account and absolutely wonderful to work with. Also- it has been AMAZING to work with a local company that answers the phone right away and can get you on the line with the person you’ve been working with the whole time that already knows your account and situation- within seconds of calling their office! You can also email directly with whoever’s processing your need and they are quick to respond! Nothing like the stress and hassle I’ve had with previous insurance companies. Thank you SO much, Zion Healthshare, and Jaden specifically, for such a great experience!!! I’d recommend you guys to ANYONE! (In general good health;))

Questions & Answers

How can you pretend to be a legitimate alternative to health care plans?

We don't have to pretend to be a legitimate alternative to health care plans. There's no pretending. Its who we are.

Why do you take money and then not pay the customers' needs?

Zion HealthShare | Dec 6, 2021

Great question! When our members join Zion Health they agree to the Principles of Membership and Member Guidelines. These rules protect the community and keep sharing fair for everyone. Sometimes members submit needs request that are not sharable. In this case we would take money from members in the form of contributions and pay these contributions towards other member needs that are qualified. Zion Health is a non-profit and strives to protect the funds of the community by following the guidelines and keep sharing fair for all our members.

What are the Mental Health Benefits?

Zion HealthShare | Nov 1, 2021

Expenses related to medications or other treatment for any mental health illness or condition is not sharable. Mental health conditions may include anxiety, depression, mental illness, and other psychological conditions. Through LifeWorks, some Zion Health members may have access to sharing of regular, preventive mental health consultations. LifeWorks is available as an add-on to any membership.

We are currently with liberty but thinking of a change. My son just graduated university and will me continuing in law school in the fall. Liberty says he has to have a separate policy which will out our monthly payment close to $800. Same?

Hello Robin. Congratulations on your son's graduation and good luck with his next step in law school. We allow child dependents to remain on your membership until age 26. If your son is over 26 or married, he would need his own membership. We would love to have your family as part of our community! Feel free to call and ask your questions as well. Thank you!
