This is the worst public aid office....u apply for food stamps and they schedule a phone interview with out telling u...and when u miss the appointment cause u didn't know about til after u get the missed interview notice and than when u try and call to reschedule they don't answer the phones leave messages and they never call back

They are incompetent and refuse to help people. You need to appeal then they argue with you for appealing and say they fixed it and don't. Rude and incompetent! They need to have a state wide audit. Hire people who will actually do there job!

Last time I order replacement Link Card they took in four and a half months to get it to me
You would have to go to the IDHS building and tell them that you are paying money you owe them and they will get you situated and on your way

Its mailed to you if u go they cant give u a card u have to wait for it to arrive after u get approved
