Overview: The Ribault club is an absolute place to hold different events. From weddings to festivals, this is one of Jacksonville's hidden gems. The club has a big ballroom, a kitchen, two separate smaller rooms, bathrooms, and a big backyard. In addition, there is an exhibit in the NW corner for visitors to view. In the back, next to the inlet, there is a great place to fish and launch kayaks. What to know: There is plenty of parking, from the front to the back. Hiking trails all around and a great place to ride bikes. This was built in the 1920s, so it's also a historical site. The backyard can hold a big crowd. So utilizing this space is key. If you are in the area and want to fish or kayak, all you need to do is pull into the parking lot just past the front driveway and follow it around to the back. Remember to visit that old plantation further down the road.

We're were site seeing but the staff was very helpful & friendly. She was helping a couple decide on wedding planning but took a moment to give us information. The grounds are a beauty with a host of wildlife to observe. I was giving my granddaughter a tour of what I experienced when my grandmother worked there done decades earlier.

Great venue for special events. Charming building and beautiful surroundings. Road to get there is very narrow so be careful once you get off the main road.
