It's the sorta place you wanna be upwardly mobile at. Coffee shops, book stores, trendy restaurants, all are the hallmark of people that work hard and wanna have fun after work. The fact there are so many parks, art displays, and pet friendly features make this city a very good match for the educational community.

who is in charge of the dog park? I took my dog last night but we did not stay it is badly in need of cleaning up. The weeds are growing everywhere and people are not cleaning up after their dogs. It is a shame it got in such shape.

I am concerned regarding a proposal I read about which said that Peoria Heights was considering closing lanes down to two lanes only thru the Heights, as they wanted to make it more of a "destination".I drive thru daily and do not want this!

Yes it would be a tough adjustment... But on the other side of that coin it will probably allow for twice the parking and most importantly help all of the small family owned businesses on prospect.
