Amazing place! Went for a wedding, staff was fantastic and friendly, food was great. If you're a fan of this art style you'll love it here.

Great old fashioned. The waitresses were lovely and the door man was fun to interact with. The atmosphere was excellent and intimate and I loved that they only allow a certain amount of people in at a time. It allows for a more enjoyable time.

Just wow ! The set up, the atmosphere, the location, the vibes. We loved it here. The drink menu was exquisite ! If they had snacks and appetizers we definitely would’ve stayed longer (that’s probably why they don’t lol) I would love to go back.

There are hotels nearby, but I'm not sure how easy it is to book them since I live here and never visited prior to moving here. One is called Hotel Saint Louis! You can find the password on their Instagram page under their latest post where they list the days and times they'll be open that week. They usually post it midweek!

With the exception of live music on Thursdays (Prohibition era jazz) and our once a month 80s 90s night, we keep things pretty low key with the music. Baqbeet plays a lounge set that hits on a wide range of artists, from Hall and Oats to Jameroquai
We are fancy and guest are often dressed in period 1920s garb. However, we care more about ettiquite than dress. So come as you are!
Some nights are themed. You don't have to dress up or for the theme of the evening but I suggest you try. That is part of the charm of the Thaxton.
Our weekly password and hours have migrated from a text message format to our most recent post on Instagram @TheThaxtonSTL (usually posted mid week)
The pw changes every week. You can sign up for a weekly text on their website to receive it.
You can also sign up for text messages and and they text their hours each week along with the password.
I can't find one. I'd head back and retrieve it.
There is no dress code. I would recommend a nice polo or shirt/ with a collar and no sneakers! Ball caps + tee shirts and jeans will leave u looking odd/ under dressed.
They have a weekly text you sign up for. I'll see if i can find the link.
There was no food the night I was there, but it was for a private event. It seemed to me the kind of place that would let you work with a caterer but on a regular night does not have food. I could be wrong though.
Their hours vary. I went to web page and signed up for their texts. They send weekly texts. Gives their hours open. The cool partthey provide you with the password of the week. If you know it at the door no cover.
