My husband and I visited this museum on our vacation to the Outer Banks. I found the museum well worth it. It was small but packed full with artifacts and written interpretation. The woman staffing the front desk was very knowledgeable about the artifacts -- I asked her about the largest and smallest artifacts in the museum. I got some booklets as souvenirs.

Very educational place to take your family. It's not too big to where young children would get bored and you can keep there attention quite well. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The weather was nice so we enjoyed the trail as well.

There are! We recently added a Passamoquody artisan as well as soaps created by a Native company! Our goal is to represent tribes across the country and we are always adding, such as our recently expanded exhibit that focuses on the Croatoan people of Hatteras Island.
Every day but Monday during seasonal hours, 10:30-5:00 Off season, we're only open on the weekends
They are and I encourage you to visit! We find the best gifts at unbeatable prices and the people who work there couldn't be nicer!! Very interesting and educational.
If i remember correctly it's $5.00 per person or $15.00 for a family. I highly recommend the museum.
