Broken bridge so trail incomplete. But the path through the woods was lovely.

Surprisingly, the beautiful bridge was washed away when we got to it. You can no longer go around the loop. You can do the trail as 2 segments. We enjoyed the view of the Missouri River, of historic St. Charles on the other side, and of the historic St.Charles Rock Road that no longer crosses the river here. When I visited there were people painting on canvas under one of the small pavilions that are often used to picnic. There were also people who were dog walking and fishing. The men's and women's restrooms are clean when I have visited. The parking area has landscape plants. There is a kiosk for signage when they create some.

A section of the trail is closed but not marked on the trailhead sign. I almost didn't make it back before sundown because I had to walk so much further than I anticipated 😡

The loop is incomplete due to the broken bridge. That makes you travel along the Earth City Business Park which does not smell very nice. The trail is otherwise nice, you can ride your bikes or stroller on the paved surface.
