The South East Community Center used to be the local water utility building. When the water company sold itself to Tacoma Water, the building was turned into a community space and is used by organizations and clubs for their meetings. A clean space with nice lighting. I am a Stormwater Drainage District commissioner and we have been holding our meetings here monthly for more than a decade. I know another district holds their meetings here along with a couple of community groups, and computer groups etc.
