Family has 3 AT&T Phones and lines. I called the Effingham store because I was going to purchase a new phone costing over $1600. I live 45 minutes away and wanted to make certain that the phone was in stock. The CSR rudely informed me that they were not allowed to tell if they had inventory available or not. This resulted in me chatting with AT&T corporate CSR. I was apologized to and the corp CSR called the Effingham store and was informed that the phone was not available at the store. This is terrible customer service. I have always been happy with AT&T but this experience is persuading me to look elsewhere for a new phone and service. The question could have been simply answered at the local store level….bye bye AT&T..

Nope! You can absolutely pay your bill in the store but there are also options to pay it online or over the phone
