NIGHTMARE!! They start out super nice. As did I. And then, due to their brand new PA, Heather, my medical, but especially my surgical future were all messed up and at stake!! I had poor hopes in her lasting long and was right. And knowing how these LIARS operate?? I am sure they drove her to leave without notice, not call in or show up the next day. The problem is she gave me all kinds of diagnoses which were not correct. And stated I was on medications that I have not taken. I found all of this information in my insurance web page. It was stunning to see all these diagnoses. Well? I have found out with my own research that the more diagnoses they write per patient? The more MCR credits them. In fact, I have found, printed, and reported to my insurance company 4 times with each formal grievance I have filed with them. I found that the Dept of JUSTICE is investigating them for filing false medical claims to Medicare. This has caused OAKSTREET to get more money, even though, they had a $64 MILLION DOLLAR loss in the 3rd Quarter of last year due to spending their own money in a part of the company. So, this goes on. I have wrong diagnoses and way too many “bad” (not true) diagnoses causing badly needed help(total knee replacement), orthopedic MDs to refuse me surgery after reading my records. There is no known MD within 180 miles of this office, which is supposed to be CHICAGO. All Nurse Practitioners or a rare PA runs this particular office. There is one NP here in the Peoria Office, one RN, one to 2 medical assistants. I believe this covers the medical staff for this office. You call a phone number to talk to the office and your call is routed to their call center in CHICAGO or NEW YORK! They take a message and the call center sends a message to the Peoria office. There always was professional behavior until my last phone call and it was obvious that she was blocking me in every way to speak to the office. There were many times my calls were NOT returned, especially the Friday that I had a very high blood pressure. I was told I would get a call returned. I have yet to get a call and that was back in July. This forced me to terminate my relationship with them. Pretty soon, I start getting calls from various members of that office, begging me to come back and how much they CARE about me!! What? Well, I thought I had a couple friends there. And I did not want to start all over as I had so many referrals, etc. So, I had re-established with them. I had minimal visits with them and in mid-August they called my insurance agent to ask what was wrong, etc with Debbie? I had been there for an appt that month. Therefore, I did not know where this was coming from. I was busy calling, setting up my own testing, specialist appts., all of it. It was taking me months to get in to all of them. Some were freaking out about my history due to what the OAKSTREET HEALTH PA, HEATHER had planted in my records. And they would discharge me r/t my health diagnoses. She also sent me out for very unnecessary and very costly tests which cost me much time and money!! Totally not needed! Well? This now leads to the reason I am posting this. I had called and somehow ended up speaking with KELLY, their regional manager and she was very kind. I was trying to set up an appt. She was super kind. Remember that. She set me up for an early October appt. Ok, remember that call center woman who blocked me?? She eventually got me through because I stated I wanted to make an appointment. I was speaking with the front staff and could tell something was wrong and she was being prompted by someone standing over her. She took the message and I could not figure out what or why I had just been through this experience?!? Well, 2 days later I get a voicemail to call for Kelly. I returned and was told that “every staff member was scared to death of me!! And do not come back to the office”!! WHAT?? I was given zero explanation! Stated simply as my finish: I WAS THROWN TO THE STREETS elderly and disabled!! BEWARE!!
