On a whim, I popped into Walton's with my parents and my nephew, and even though we range in age from 22 - 68, we all enjoyed our time there so much! We didn't do the tour, but we loved getting to sample all of the flavors and styles of moonshine and learning about the distilling processes from the friendly, knowledgeable staff. Walton's is easy to find, super accessible, and between the free tour / tastings and the reasonably priced gift shop, it's definitely a cheap afternoon out! I couldn't recommend it more!

We really enjoyed our visit to Walton's Distillery. The people there were very friendly and helpful. We went on a free tour which was interesting, sampled some of their products (purchased 3 bottles), and visited their gift shop. Strongly recommend a stop here if you like spirits from a small business.

You shouldn't miss Waltons Distillery. We visited on a Thursday afternoon and were the only customers at the time. Because of staffing at that time we could not do a tour but we're able to do the FREE tasting. They allow you to taste all 8 of their products. They have moonshine (different flavors), bourbon, and whiskey. A neat bit of trivia is that their method for making moonshine came from a gentlemen that operated an illegal still for years. Their gift shop has a lot of branded items. You can also get moonshine candles. There is a gravel drive and parking is not well defined so just find a place out of the way.

We had so much fun!! We've been in town for a week visiting our son & his family, planning on leaving this evening after we pick the grandkids up from school. Sitting at their house this morning, we started googling what to do in the area & ended up here! So glad we did. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door, and everyone was incredibly friendly! We did a tasting first, and then a tour. The place isn't super big what space they have, they make the most of it & provide a lot of insight to their business, a few smiles & some great conversation. Before we left, we got to learn about their free, family friendly, music events in April & May. Sure wish we lived closer so we could attend but we'll definitely be back when in the area!

The "country" store at their facility has GREAT items for sale and if you're so inclined free tastings. Everyone there is super friendly and welcomes questions...it's their chance to showcase their diligence and quality products. PS. The Apple Pie 'shine is AWESOME 👍👌 PSS. The Marina Restaurant is a must do in the Jacksonville area. See my review on it.
At the open house has we offer free food that's catered by Smithfield's it's the only time we serve food.
Certified services animals are fine however we fall under the FDA which requires that even service animals must be under control at all times as alcohol is considered drug production oppose to food production. However that pertains to in the buildings themselves. So at the open houses or a normal day walking them aground the parking lot of fine, we don't encourage at the open house just because how crowded it is, so it just comes to how your dog is in a large crowd.
