Nice neighborhood hike. It’s the best on a summer sunny day which allows you to see Mount Rainier. It’s hidden and not very many people know about it. There are portable potties with near by dirt parking. Kids will love this hike hike not too difficult or long. The walk down to the beach is nice. The water is cold and there’s lots of stones so it’s not the best for swimming.

Incredible views! I would recommend wearing hiking boots/shoes because it's a pretty steep downhill, but you can get by with tennis shoes too. Perfect place for a beach picnic and sunset (except for the hike back up :P)

Fantastic view, fun trails. Most of the entire park is on a hillside overlooking the shore. Lots of places to sit and rest and enjoy the view. The only downside is my out of shape body didn't enjoy climbing back up the steep hills.

The hike to the beach is pretty easy, downhill all the way. It's the hike back that gets a little difficult. It's 1200 ft and pretty steep in some areas. I'm not in the best shape so I just stopped and rested a few times. But the beauty of the wooded area and then the water as the view opens in front of you is intense. There are a few flights of stairs to get to the water. The beach is mostly pebbles, not much shade in the afternoon. Next time I will bring my beach tent for shade. Highly recommend.
