Most shoulder surgeries require a hospital stay that following night, and then you ll be put in a sling to immobilize your shoulder for about 6 weeks to ensure proper healing. Expect to need some assistance with daily activities for a few weeks with a sling on. Having a support system and someone available to help you with normal daily activities is really essential to make sure the joint heals properly. If you have any additional questions or concerns, give our office a call.

A lot of times, this is where the skin grows thicker over pressure areas. Most of the time isn't painful, but sometimes it can be. It could come down to the shoes you wear and what pressure points it hits that rub on the inside of your feet or your posture. If this keeps happening, and you are continuing to change your shoes, schedule an appointment and bring the shoes that you wear most often into your visit. It helps the doctor determine where your pressure points are!
