Typical borderline rude/indifferent gun shop atmosphere. Thinking they know more than they know (specifically with milsurps/kit builds). I will give 3 stars because the online gun inventory is SUPER helpful and sadly unique to the LGS world.

I chose to use Pintos for a special order pistol because they are local Renton business. When it came in they called me and I came down and started the paper work for the background check. After waiting 10 business days without word, I called to inquire about the status and spoke with Brian. He said still no word. I asked him about RCW 9.41.092 and asked why they couldn’t issue the firearm after a ten business day wait as it states in the RCW. Brian became agitated and told me he didn’t care what the RCW said, and they would call me when they hear something and promptly hung up. I waited another 7 business days and called back to check in on the status. Unfortunately Brian answered again. He was so angry that I called to check my status again he told me he was so tired of people calling and asking about their background check status and that he gets at least 30 of these inquiries a day. He then said we will call you when we hear something and hung up on me! I called back immediately to try and speak with a manager and Brian answered again. I asked to speak to his manager and he said “I am the manager”! I asked him “ and that’s how you treat a customer”? He then said maybe you need to find a different gun store! Worst customer service I have ever encountered! I only wish that I would have read some of the other 1 star reviews before buying two pistols from them. Brian is quoted in another review telling the customer “maybe you need to find a different gun store” and hanging on that customer too!

My good friend Dennis recommended me this place as it was my first time buying a gun and I was extremely excited and nervous all at the same time. Needless to say they immediately took care of me as soon as they could, they treated me like family in here and made me feel like home. Any questions I had they answered, while going through the paperwork the gentlemen Brandy was extremely clear and tripled checked everything to make sure it was 100% good to go.They also have a huge selection to choose from and had what I was looking for in stock.Overall I would highly recommend anybody to come check this place out.

I was treated very well here. They had people packed in there, and still took the time to answer all of my questions, and they took care of me as if i was the only person in the store. One thing you have to understand about a firearms dealer, they are under immense pressure to do things right and set a good public image. I think Pinto's nailed it here. They were very patient with my questions, and the pricing for everything was beyond fair. Pinto's is a gem in Western Washington. They have earned my loyalty as a customer.

Inbound transfers and private transfers are $40 per firearm, outbound transfers (one we would be shipping out of state) are $50.00 per firearm plus shipping.
We will contact your son once the gun arrives here (you cannot ship it directly to him). The FFL Transfer Form on our website will ask for his contact information. You as the shipper can either ship it to us directly or you can chose to have an FFL Dealer/gun shop in your area ship it for you to us. If you chose this route you will need to find a dealer in your area, find out how they want us to send a copy of our FFL (we can fax or mail) and provide that information on the FFL Transfer Form as well. If you chose to ship the firearm we will need a fax or email for you to send a copy of our FFL to you. This gets a bit confusing at times, so it might be easier for you to call us with questions. 425-227-9280 and anyone at the shop can help you.
We can receive the firearm for your son. You can ship the gun to us or have an FFL dealer in your area ship it. If you choose to have us receive the firearm please have your son go to our website, www.pintosguns.com, and fill out the FFL Transfer Form.
